The largest fuel pipeline system in the United States has been shut down after a cyberattack. Colonial pipeline sends more than two and a half million barrels of oil a day from the Gulf Coast and supplies nearly half of gasoline and diesel to the east coast of the United States. Emergency powers were called in to try to prevent fuel shortages. President Biden said there is no evidence of Russian government involvement, but there are some indications that the attack originated in Russia.
