The deadly exchange between the Gaza Strip and Palestinian militants in the Israeli army has intensified sharply as the UN fears of a “feared” war. Israel says more than 1,000 rockets have been fired by the Palestinian military. Israel has attacked hundreds of airstrikes in Gaza, destroyed three towers and killed top Hamas officials. At least 65 Palestinians and six people have been killed in Israel since Monday. This includes 16 Palestinian children caught in the conflict.
