Norway has lifted the Russian border fence – BBC News

Norway is erecting a controversial steel barrier on its border with Russia last year as a result of last year’s rise in migrants. He has criticized fears that the fence will damage refugee rights groups and cross-border ties with Russia.
But the government says a new fence is needed to cover security to make it cross the northern European Schengen area. Reports by Howard Johnson.
