Boris Johnson has been ordered to appear in court after he said the UK gave him £ 350 million a week.

A candidate for the board of directors has been accused of misbehaving in public office after making a claim in the 2016 EU referendum campaign.

This is a particular indictment launched by the Marcus Ball campaign for the case in which he was charged £ 200,000.

Johnson’s representatives have called the case a “breakthrough” that is being achieved for “political purposes.”

The preliminary hearing will be in Westminster Magistrates’ Court and the case will be referred to Crown Court for trial.
