Philip Pinkovich was forced to return to Croatia in the early stages of closure after Zagreb was struck by a massive earthquake that caused widespread damage throughout the city.

The 22-year-old, who was seconded in Bristol City from Leicester from the Premier League, was granted permission to travel home to be with his parents and extended family, in the same week that the UK was closed due to the Corona virus.

More than 25,000 buildings were damaged, including schools, hospital and cathedral, and a 15-year-old girl died, following the 5.3-magnitude earthquake on March 22, the worst in 140 years.
