Harris County, Texas – The North Highway is closed to the south due to a deadly multi-vehicle accident involving a large platform near Rankin Road overnight.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office said two women were killed and two young children were injured in several traffic accidents.

The deputies said that a man stood outside the car when the collision occurred, jumped off the bridge to avoid being hit. 10 feet fell to the ground.

The deputy said that the injuries of children between 3 and 1 years old are not life-threatening.

This happens around 1:30 am and starts at 5:30 am. All entrance / south lanes remain closed.

The deputy said that a series of collisions began when the Red Lincoln Navigator, who was towing a black trailer, exploded and tried to get off the highway. Then the gray Mazda sedan crashed into the back of the trailer and ended in a sideways direction on the highway.

Then the Chevrolet Silverado came, saw Mazda and tried to avoid the car. However, the SUV finally got off, crashed into a wall and settled into the middle lane, the deputy said.

Representatives said that a Mazda passenger and driver got out of their car. A man in a white Chevrolet Suburban stopped his shoulder to stop and help.

The deputy said that a large Amazon Prime platform came and tried to avoid a defective car by serving it on the outer shoulder. However, he could not avoid it, as it collided with all vehicles and debris already on the road.

The deputy said that the large platform also attacked two women who left their car.

The 3 and 1 year old girls were also injured in the explorer and transferred to a local hospital. The deputy said that they suffered minor injuries and were properly held at the time of the accident.
