Coronavirus: PBC Schools Cancel International Releases – News – The Palm Beach Post
Palm Beach County school officials can arrange international travel. Field trips to the United States will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Palm Beach County public schools announced on Monday that they have suspended international school trips for the time being and have recommended students and staff to cancel any private outings abroad due to the threat of coronavirus.
School trips sponsored by schools in the United States are still allowed, but "will be decided on a case-by-case basis," said Superintendent Donald Fennoy in an email to parents.
Fennoy called the operating possibilities of schools affected by an epidemic "remote", but said the district had a plan in place to ensure that learning continued in such an event.

"District administrators have put in place an infectious disease response plan to ensure continued learning, in the event that our normal operations are disrupted by an epidemic," he wrote.
The council arrives two weeks before the county break week which begins March 23.
