The incidence of coronavirus in the US increases by 47,000, the largest liver one day of pandemic

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – New COVID-19 cases in the U.S. rose by more than 47,000 on Tuesday, according to a Reuters report, the largest one-day liver since the onset of pandemic, as the top expert of the government for infectious diseases warned that soon the number could double.

California, Texas and Arizona have emerged as new US centers of pandemic, reporting record growth in COVID-19 cases.

“It is clear that we are not in full control now,” Dr. Anthony Fauci, head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, before a U.S. Senate committee. “I’m very worried because it could get worse.”

Fauci said daily growth in new cases could reach 100,000 if a nationwide push was not made to reduce the recovery virus.

“We can’t just focus on those areas that are growing. It puts the whole country at risk,” he said.

Fauci said there was no guarantee of a vaccine, although early records were promising: “We hope there will be doses available by early next year,” he said.

COVID-19 cases more than doubled in June in at least 10 states, including Texas and Florida, a Reuters report showed. In parts of Texas and Arizona, intensive hospital care beds for COVID-19 patients are in short supply.

More than 126,000 Americans have died from COVID-19 and millions have lost their jobs as states and major cities ordered residents to stay home and businesses closed. The economy shrank sharply in the first quarter and is expected to crater in the second.

The European Union has excluded Americans from the “safe list” of countries from which the bloc will allow non-essential travel starting Wednesday.

New rising cases and hospitalizations have dampened hopes that the worst of human and economic pain had passed, sparking renewed criticism of US President Donald Trump as he seeks re-election on November 3.

His rival, Democrat Joe Biden, on Tuesday said Trump’s “historic mismanagement” with the cost of pandemic cost and caused more damage than it should in the US economy.

“It simply came to our notice then. Donald Trump failed us, ”the 77-year-old former vice president said in a speech in Delaware, where he unveiled an updated plan to address pandemic, demanding more testing and hiring 100,000 contract trackers.

Last week California, Texas and Florida moved to close recently reopened bars, which public health officials believe are likely one of the biggest contributors to the latest points.

On Tuesday, New York, New Jersey and Connecticut added travelers from California and seven other states to those who need to self-quarantine for 14 days after arrival. Texas and Florida were named last week.

South Carolina has also emerged as a hot spot, reporting a record one-day increase of 1,755 cases on Tuesday.

In Texas, where the number of new cases jumped to a one-day record of 6,975 on Tuesday, Houston hospitals said the beds were being filled quickly with COVID-19 patients.

Dr Marc Boom, chief executive of Houston Methodist Hospital, told CNN on Tuesday that his hospital beds had seen a “very significant” increase in COVID-19 patients, although the death rate had dropped.

Boom said he was concerned about Independence Day celebrations this weekend, when Americans traditionally flocked to beaches and campgrounds to watch fireworks performances.

“Honestly that scares me,” he said.

One important advantage is the speed at which information is sent and received. With the help of the internet, the shopping habits of many persons have drastically changed. The car insurance industry hasn't remained untouched by these changes. On the internet, drivers can compare insurance prices and find out which sellers have the best offers. View photos The advantages of comparing online car insurance quotes are the following: Online quotes can be obtained from anywhere and at any time. Unlike physical insurance agencies, websites don't have a specific schedule and they are available at any time. Drivers that have busy working schedules, can compare quotes from anywhere and at any time, even at midnight. Multiple choices. Almost all insurance providers, no matter if they are well-known brands or just local insurers, have an online presence. Online quotes will allow policyholders the chance to discover multiple insurance companies and check their prices. Drivers are no longer required to get quotes from just a few known insurance companies. Also, local and regional insurers can provide lower insurance rates for the same services. Accurate insurance estimates. Online quotes can only be accurate if the customers provide accurate and real info about their car models and driving history. Lying about past driving incidents can make the price estimates to be lower, but when dealing with an insurance company lying to them is useless. Usually, insurance companies will do research about a potential customer before granting him coverage. Online quotes can be sorted easily. Although drivers are recommended to not choose a policy just based on its price, drivers can easily sort quotes by insurance price. Using brokerage websites will allow drivers to get quotes from multiple insurers, thus making the comparison faster and easier.
