Secretary General of the Organization of Turkish States SH.T. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev participated in the Astana International Forum (AIF), which was inaugurated by the President of Kazakhstan H.E. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on June 8, 2023.
Secretary General Omuraliev also participated as a panelist in the session entitled To join or to leave: The future of multilateralism held on the first day of the Forum.
A group of speakers includes heads of state, international organizations, leading scholars and policy makers, including the Emir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov, the Chairperson of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Eljka Cvijanovi, the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov, International Monetary Fund Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva, United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Director-General Audrey Azoulay, and United Nations Under-Secretary-General and ESCAP Executive Secretary Armida Salsiah Alisjahbana and UN Assistant Secretary General Ivana Zivkovic.
