19 Ministry of Defense Silver ERS Award Winners in Wales

We are delighted to announce that 19 amazing organizations in Wales have achieved the 2024 Defense Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) Silver Award.

The prestigious Defense Silver ERS award recognizes employers who have actively demonstrated their support for the Armed Forces community through the implementation of practical workplace policies.

The 19 winners will be invited to receive their award at a special ceremony in Cardiff on 17 July.

Under the Defense Employer Recognition Scheme, employers support Defense personnel and encourage others to do the same. The scheme has three levels, Bronze, Silver and Gold for organizations that pledge, demonstrate and champion support for defense and the Armed Forces community.

To achieve Silver, organizations must proactively demonstrate that the Armed Forces community is not unfairly disadvantaged as part of their recruitment policies. They must also actively ensure that their workforce is aware of their positive policies on defense people issues for reservists, veterans, adult Cadet Force volunteers and spouses and partners of those serving in the Forces. Armed.
