The academy announced that longtime executive director Mark Richardson will retire from his position in May 2025. “His visionary guidance has been instrumental in shaping the Arizona Academy of the Performing Arts into the thriving community it is today, and his legacy will continue to inspire us for years to come,” said Academy board president Rich Frazier.
