China’s communist regime is reportedly monitoring tens of thousands of Britons and Americans collecting data from the dark network.

It turns out that a colossal database, which is understood to have been stolen and leaked to the Five Eyes Intelligence network by an anti-China activist, has been compiled by a private firm, which is contracted with the government.

Zhenhua Data, a Shenzhen-based company that ranks the People’s Liberation Army and the Chinese Communist Party among its main clients, has been collecting data on prominent people, including Boris Johnson and the Royal Family.

The company sees its mission as using big data for the “great renovation of the Chinese nation.”

Daily Telegraph reports that the firm has been compiling personal information for millions of people from the US, UK, Australia, Canada, India and Japan, including information about their immediate family.

Its database includes names, dates of birth, education, work history and social media accounts.

Most of this is gathered from online sources.

But some of the data is not available to the public, such as bank details, criminal convictions, information about senior military and those on an anti-money laundering list.

It is thought that this is collected through the dark network where there is an illegal data trade.

It is difficult not to conclude that they are collecting public information and collecting it as a form of oversight

Sensitive information about the movements of ships in the UK and US, satellites, aircraft and drivers was disclosed.

The revelation comes amid tensions between the British and Chinese governments over new security laws in Hong Kong and the cancellation of Huawei’s involvement in the UK 5G network.

Alan Woodward, a professor of cyber security at the University of Surrey, told times“They are a very dark group working mainly for the Chinese military.

“They collect data from various social media platforms as part of their profiling. It is not hacking, but it is more profiling, but it targets certain figures.

“It is difficult not to conclude that they are gathering public information and collecting it as a form of surveillance.”

The database, known as the main overseas individual database, was found to have been stolen by an anti-China activist, who shared it with a cyber security firm called Internet 2.0, which reconstructed the data. .

He then shared the data with the intelligence services of the Five Eyes group of intelligence services in the UK, US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

It was then shared with media organizations by Internet 2.0. “Zhenhua has violated the privacy of millions of global citizens,” said Robert Potter, its co-founder and chief executive.

A Zhenhua Date spokeswoman reportedly declined to comment on allegations that she was involved in state espionage just like the Chinese government.

This comes after the UK government intervened in the inclusion of Chinese tech giant Huawei in 5G networks amid security concerns a move welcomed by Washington.

Last year America threatened to stop sharing top-secret intelligence with Britain if it allowed Huawei in the country because the company has close ties to the ruling Chinese Communist Party.

Beijing had also previously threatened Downing Street with “consequences” if Huawei was excluded from the 5G network.

In June experts believe a cyber attack launched by China against Australia may have been revenge for the country banning Huawei from its telephone networks.

Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison said the sophisticated “state-based” attack targeted critical infrastructure and all levels of government.

TIkToK is facing bans worldwide over fears that the Chinese app is spying on users and passing secrets to the Communist Party.

The Australian Government is already under pressure to outlaw the popular application amid concerns that pose a serious threat to national security.

U.S. President Donald Trump has made it clear he wants to see a full sale of TikTok to a U.S. tech company, amid concerns among national security officials that U.S. user data could be passed on to the U.S. government. Communist Party of China.

He has threatened to ban her in the United States as early as September 20 if ByteDance does not comply.

Big brother is watching

As the Chinese Communist Party has begun spying on foreign nationals, it is also increasing snooping on its own people.

She has ordered all 700 million men and boys to submit their DNA, according to a new report.

The database would enable authorities to track down any relatives of the man using that saliva, blood or other genetic material, the newspaper reported.

The government has already pursued ethnic minorities such as Muslim Uighurs and other groups perceived as hostile or a threat to the party.
