New Delhi: Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar hinted on Sunday in a blockade caused by Covid in the coming days in the state due to large crowds witnessed during the recently completed festival period.
“There were large crowds during the Diwali period. Even in the time of Ganesha Chaturthi, we saw crowds. We are talking to the relevant departments. We will review the situation for the next 8-10 days and then a decision will be made on the blockade. , “said Pawar in Pune.
“Now there are predictions that the second wave may come. The government has made a lot of regulations for starting schools, which includes different ways of how they should be cleaned,” he added.
The state government has allowed the reopening of schools for grades 9 to 12 from tomorrow depending on the Covid-19 situation in local areas.
The reopening of schools has been postponed in Pimpri Chinchwad until November 30 due to the Covid-19 situation. “A total of 17 teachers and teaching staff have tested Covid positive out of 5,671 samples tested in the rural area of Pune. More teachers and teaching staff will be tested,” Pune zila Parishad said on Sunday.
Pawar’s statement comes at a time when speculation is gathering steam for the state considering a possible suspension of train and flight operations to and from Delhi in view of rising coronavirus cases in the national capital.
“Various measures are being discussed in order to curb the spread of the virus in the state and the suspension of train and flight operations to and from Delhi is one of them,” PTI chief secretary Sanjay Kumar told.
“However, no decision has been made so far on this,” he added.

Unlike physical insurance agencies, websites don't have a specific schedule and they are available at any time. Drivers that have busy working schedules, can compare quotes from anywhere and at any time, even at midnight. Multiple choices. Almost all insurance providers, no matter if they are well-known brands or just local insurers, have an online presence. Drivers are no longer required to get quotes from just a few known insurance companies. Also, local and regional insurers can provide lower insurance rates for the same services. Accurate insurance estimates. Online quotes can only be accurate if the customers provide accurate and real info about their car models and driving history. Lying about past driving incidents can make the price estimates to be lower, but when dealing with an insurance company lying to them is useless. Usually, insurance companies will do research about a potential customer before granting him coverage. Online quotes can be sorted easily.
