'Racist' coronavirus attack on East Asian student: London police search for four men

In the United States, discrimination is on the rise, with experts accusing ignorance and misinformation of racist and xenophobic attacks against people who appear to be from East Asia.

"With news of the coronavirus, we have seen a slight increase in fear of people who look like this," said Rosalind Chou, professor of sociology at Georgia State University. "Real people are affected."
