Tarrant County reports six deaths at COVID-19, totaling 83 – CBS Dallas / Fort Worth
The deceased men include men in their 50s, two men in their 80s, and women in their 50s, all from Fort Worth. Women in their 80s from Keller and women in their 80s from Grapevine. All had an underlying health condition.
“These latest deaths are sad and awkward for all of us,” said Vinita Neja, Director of Public Health in Tarrant County.
653 people recovered from COVID-19 in the county.
Although the requirement to stay at home is allowed to expire, he encouraged residents to stay at home as long as possible and follow public health guidelines:
- When going out, cover your mouth and nose with a mask or scarf.
- Stay social – keep 6 feet away from others while you are out.
- Wash your hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not available, use alcohol-based hand sanitizer.

- Frequently clean and disinfect touched objects and surfaces.
