KFL & A Public Health Encourages People to Take advantage of Large COVID-19 Vaccine Supply-Kingston
Kingston Health Unit says it has thousands COVID-19 (New Coronavirus Infection) We encourage you to be vaccinated and if you have not yet been vaccinated, to be vaccinated over the age of 12.
“Although case rates are stable in the region, building community immunity is essential to proceed to step 3 and prevent cases from increasing when resuming indoor activities and gathering in larger groups. To protect our community, as many people as possible need to be fully vaccinated against the virus, “KFL & A Public Health said on Monday.
According to a news release from the Health Unit, there are currently over 16,000 open vaccine reservations available to people over the age of 12.
To get the vaccine into the weapon as soon as possible, the Health Unit has added vaccine clinic options such as night clinics, walk-in times, and more accessible bookings online.
As of Monday, there were only three active cases of COVID-19 in the area.
Nearly 62% of patients over the age of 12 have been vaccinated twice.
