St. Tamany sees the best one-day COVID spikes since January

ST. Tamany Parish, Louisiana-Doctors on the North Shore warn that they are currently heading for a fourth surge in COVID-19 cases. Healthcare leaders joined St. Tamany’s parish officials on Wednesday, urging unvaccinated people to take their shots.
The Parish of St. Tamany has the highest number of COVID cases in one day since January, with 201 confirmed cases reported since Tuesday.

The immunization rate for the Parish of St. Tamany is 42%.
