Quebec records 600 new COVID-19 cases and 3 more deaths
Quebec reported 600 new COVID-19 (New Coronavirus Infection) There were cases and three more deaths on Wednesday as hospitalizations continued to increase.
According to the Ministry of Health, nearly 85% of the infectious diseases recorded in the latest daily tally were not properly vaccinated.
The number of pandemic-related hospitalizations was 178, an increase of 7 from the previous day. This includes three more patients in the intensive care unit, for a total of 71.
The vaccination campaign has received an additional 19,989 new coronavirus vaccines since the last update. This included more than 18,000 times in the last 24 hours. Quebec has provided more than 12.5 million shots so far.
According to the State Public Health Institute, 87.8% of Quebec people over the age of 12 have been vaccinated at least once, and 82.3% are believed to be properly vaccinated.
Meanwhile, according to the latest screening information available, 21,000 tests were conducted on Monday.
The number of cases in the state reached 394,452, and 11,296 Quebecs died as a result of the pandemic.
In the course of the health crisis, 377,531 recovery cases have been reported.
