Girl, 15 years old, died of Covid on scheduled vaccination date | Coronavirus
According to the family, a 15-year-old girl who tested positive for Covid-19 died on the day she was scheduled to be vaccinated.
Originally from Portsmouth, Jorja Halliday died at Queen Alexandra Hospital on Tuesday and was virus-positive four days ago.
Her mother, Tracey Halliday, 40, said the Portsmouth Academy GCSE students are “loving girls” with lots of friends, talented kickboxers, and ambitious musicians.
Holiday said: “She was very active, loved going out and spending time with her friends, and loved spending time with her brothers and sisters.

Halliday said the Jorja brothers were devastated.
She said Giorja, who had no underlying health condition, developed flu-like symptoms before undergoing a PCR test, gave a positive result, and was quarantined at home.
Giorja had a hard time eating on Sunday, and by Monday she couldn’t eat at all because she had a sore throat.
The doctor prescribed antibiotics, but Jorja’s condition worsened and his heart rate doubled, and he was taken to the hospital.
Holiday said: They allowed me to do that. I’m in a place where I don’t understand what happened.
“I’ve been with her all the time. They tried to put her on a ventilator to give her a chance to recover. Her heart rate wasn’t stable. Her heart was I couldn’t stand the tension. I think they worked medically, but I couldn’t save her. “
Preliminary results from a hospital coroner showed that Giorja had Covid myocarditis, a virus-induced heart inflammation. Halliday explained that Jorja had been booked to jab on Tuesday but was positive the previous Saturday. She planned to get a jab after the quarantine period, but died on the day she was scheduled to be vaccinated.
