Merck’s Dravirin and Islatravir have been adapted to the major endpoints for the treatment of HIV-1

Phase 3 ILLUMINATE showed the proportion of individuals with HIV-1RNA levels of 50 copies / mL or higher for the once-daily combination pill of dravilin / islatravir.

Merck is two important pills for the once-daily combination of dravilin / islatravir (DOR / ISL) in HIV-1 patients who are virologically suppressed by various antiretroviral therapy regimens (ART). Announced positive top-line results from a phase 3 trial. The company said in a statement.

ILLUMINATE’s clinical trials included HIV-1 patients who were virologically suppressed by ART, those who were experienced in treatment, and those who were unfamiliar with HIV treatment. The program also included HIV-1 pediatricians weighing 77.1 pounds or more who were virologically suppressed and treated.
