104 new COVID-19 cases reported in the Waterloo region over the weekend
According to the Waterloo Public Health Service, in this area COVID-19 (New Coronavirus Infection) Cases in which 104 new positive tests were reported over the weekend.

“Through our case and contact surveys, we see clusters of cases between households, and cases from social events in private settings where precautions are mitigated or lacking. . “
Dr. Wang added that this serves as a reminder of the rapid spread of delta variants when given a chance. She said that being vaccinated and continuing to implement public health precautions remains “most important.”
Public health said individuals who were not immunized against COVID-19 remained most affected by the virus.
The Waterloo region has an estimated 126,000 inhabitants who have not yet been vaccinated or are not yet qualified.

The latest data from public health show that 901,916 vaccinations were given in the area. This is an increase of 2,889 times over the number on Friday.
