COVID-Quebec’s 19 cases exceed 2,000, with the highest total number per day in 11 months
Quebec reports 2,013 new COVID-19 (new coronavirus infection) The incident on Friday is due to the ever-increasing number of incidents across the state.
The last time the infection reached such highs was at the beginning of the year in mid-January.
The number of cases since the onset of the health crisis is currently 462,246, with 437,722 recovery and 12,921 active cases.
Six more deaths were added on Friday, bringing the total to 11,603.

On Thursday, Health Minister Christian Dubé said an increase in cases was expected, according to predictions of modeling by the Quebec Institute of Public Health.
He pointed out that the more important indicator to follow was hospitalizations, which increased by one on Friday to 256.
Of those patients, 62 are hospitalized.

Vaccination efforts continue with a focus on the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine to children aged 5 to 11 years.
So far, 233,817 of them have taken shots and another 78,287 have made reservations.
