First case of Omicron variant confirmed in Johnson County
Kansas City, MO — The Kansas Department of Health and Environment, along with the Johnson County Department of Health and Environment, confirmed the first case of the Omicron variant of COVID-19 in the county on Wednesday.
“JCDHE is working to investigate cases (males under the age of 30), identify and keep in touch with people who may have come into contact with confirmed cases,” JCDHE said in a release.
