Fraser Health Expands Access to COVID-19 Testing Using Surrey Bear Creek Rapid Test Distribution Center
The recent increase in COVID-19 infections in our area has resulted in test latency. Adding this booking-only drive-through service will help ensure. Those who need a test, And those sent for testing by a healthcare provider or public health can more efficiently book and receive the test.
The Sally Bear Creapy Rapid Test Distribution Center is located on Sally’s 13750–88 Avenue. Starting today, the center will be open 7 days a week from 10:30 am to 5:30 pm. We are grateful for the partnership with the City of Sally for generous access to this location.
As with all Fraser Health COVID-19 testing and immunization sites, people can access the COVID-19 testing at the Sally Bear Cream Rapid Test Distribution Center only by appointment. Those with a reservation will be provided with a rapid antigen COVID-19 test kit for takeaway. Those without a reservation will be rejected and will be asked to go online or make a reservation by phone.
It is important to remember that testing is not necessary if you have mild symptoms and are fully vaccinated. Stay home and stay away from others for 5 days. That way, as long as you feel better and have no fever or symptoms, you can start working.
The Sally Bear Creapy Rapid Test Distribution Center is committed to supporting the current COVID-19 test site and meeting growing demand. Rapid antigen testing is part of our overall testing strategy, including PCR testing reserved at all COVID-19 testing centers.
The Sally Bear Creapy Rapid Test Distribution Center is expected to provide 750 rapid tests daily to people with reserved reservations. Currently, Fraser Health offers approximately 8,600 PCR and rapid antigen test kits daily at the COVID-19 testing site.
