Update (1:03 PT pm) — The Oregon Department of Health reported on Tuesday an outbreak of 13 coronavirus cases in Red Mill, Bob, Clackamas County. The outbreak investigation began on May 27, says OHA.

Authorities announced that the outbreak would pose a low risk to the public and will release additional information on Wednesday of its weekly report.

Tacoma Immigration Prison Inspects COVID-19 for All Detainees

Federal officials said Monday they would test all those detained at Tacoma’s Northwest Detention Center on Monday.

The immigration and customs enforcement facility can accommodate approximately 1,500 detainees.

The lawsuit will be filed during the outbreak of the coronavirus after immigrant supporters filed a lawsuit in an attempt to release medically vulnerable detainees.

Deaths in Oregon gradually increase

COVID-19 deaths in Oregon increased to 157 on Tuesday Oregon Department of Health..

OHA reported three new coronavirus-related deaths:

  • A 36-year-old woman from Martonoma County. A positive reaction was shown on May 31, and he died at Adventist Hospital on the same day. She had an underlying illness.
  • A 66-year-old woman from Martonoma County. He tested positive on April 1 and died at home on May 22. She had an underlying illness.
  • An 81-year-old woman living in Washington County. He tested positive on 6 April and died at home on 26 May. She had an underlying illness.

Health authorities have reported an estimated 33 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19, with a total of 4,335 current cases.

The highest number of new cases was in Multnomah County, where the OHA identified 10. Presumed cases are people who have not been diagnosed as virus positive, but who have symptoms and are in close contact with confirmed cases.
