Increased risk of suicide when handgun is at home

Researchers point out that Americans own more guns than civilians in other countries. Meanwhile, the United States has one of the highest gun suicide rates in the world.

According to Webster, the myth that “guns are not a problem” continues, and anyone who intends to commit suicide will find another way. But according to statistics, if people endure a suicide attempt, they usually get help and don’t try it again.

Guns are extremely deadly, and people rarely have such an opportunity, Webster said.
