As of Wednesday, February 16, 2022, the Ministry of Health of King County and Washington State reported:
- 193 new cases since Tuesday in King County. This is a 24% decrease in the last 7 days. An average of 1,091 new cases occur daily.
- 18 new hospitalizations since Tuesday in King County. This is a 16% decrease over the last 7 days.
- In King County, deaths have fallen by 17% in the last two weeks, with an average of seven deaths each day. The county has reported 16 new deaths since Tuesday.
- 78.6% of King County residents are fully vaccinated.
- 11,373 Covid-19-related deaths across Washington. Mortality rate of 1% since the pandemic began.
King County Vaccine Verification Regulations End March 1st
King County is ready to enter a new phase of the pandemic by authorities rolling back the requirements for the Covid vaccine, which came into force a few months ago.
