LA County to ease the obligation of indoor masks for vaccinated people

according to Los Angeles County Supervisor Janice Hahn says the county will exempt vaccinated individuals from the obligation to use indoor masks if the indoor space requires proof of vaccination.

The changes may take effect on Friday, February 25, according to Hahn.

For this week, Los Angeles County was the only Southern California County to maintain its indoor mask mission.Governor Gavin Newsom’s office State-wide mask man dating It will expire after February 15th.

Newsome’s office reinstated state-wide indoor mask requirements in December 2021 after a surge in cases of Omicron variants throughout California before revoking the mission after February 15. The state extended Mask’s mission in January 2022 before announcing at the beginning of the month that it would expire after 11:59 pm on Tuesday.

According to the Governor’s Office, unvaccinated people should wear a mask indoors in public places. Californians must wear masks at schools from kindergarten to high school, public transport, and nursing homes, regardless of the county in which they live.

As of Tuesday night, Los Angeles County authorities did not specify whether the obligation to use indoor masks would eventually or soon be completely eliminated for all Angelenos. County authorities have also not identified what an unvaccinated individual can or cannot do in areas where there is no evidence of vaccination and wearing a mask.
