When and how will the COVID pandemic end?
In the third year of the pandemic, World Health Organization (WHO) officials are discussing when and how to end the global Covid-19 crisis.
WHO said it is not currently considering such a declaration. Cases have declined in many places, but deaths are skyrocketing in Hong Kong, and this week China reported more than 1,000 new daily cases for the first time in two years. Bloomberg The report suggested.

WHO said all currently licensed COVID-19 vaccines are based on the strain first detected in Wuhan, China more than three years ago.
“Since then, there has been continuous and substantial viral evolution, which is likely to continue and lead to the emergence of new variants,” the agency said, which may require renewal of the coronavirus vaccine. Added that it is expensive.
