Eight steps to stay healthy when the city reopens

Life before the coronavirus pandemic has begun to travel around St. Louis and St. Louis County.

But doctors say that some of the changes we’ve made in our daily lives probably need to stick until the vaccine is approved.

“No virus left, it hasn’t changed. It’s still here. It’s still very contagious, and it’s still very dangerous,” Dr. Alex Garza said earlier. He is an incident commander at the St. Louis Metropolitan Pandemic Task Force.

For weeks, Dr. Garza emphasized the importance of social distance and frequently washed his hands and cleaned the surface. He said it was particularly important to continue the practices that help delay the spread of COVID-19 in the St. Louis region as the economy and business resume.

“And until a vaccine is developed, it’s never going to be zero infection, so we need to learn how to co-exist with the virus and take all these important steps to control it.” Said the doctor.

To control coronaviruses in the St. Louis area, Dr. Garza has provided these eight steps to keep you, your loved ones, and the entire community safe.

  1. Keep 6 feet away from others-except for the one you live in
  2. Wear face masks in public
  3. Wash your hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
  4. Regularly clean anything that you touch frequently, such as your phone, counter, light switch, etc.
  5. Monitor yourself for signs of illness and call your doctor if you have COVID-19 symptoms
  6. Do not gather with more than 10 people
  7. Stay at home if vulnerable or at high risk of infection
  8. Do not visit nursing homes or nursing homes

“These are the steps we all need to take to keep transmission rates low and prevent new surges in cases,” Dr. Garza said.

View photos The advantages of comparing online car insurance quotes are the following: Online quotes can be obtained from anywhere and at any time. Unlike physical insurance agencies, websites don't have a specific schedule and they are available at any time. Drivers that have busy working schedules, can compare quotes from anywhere and at any time, even at midnight. Multiple choices. Almost all insurance providers, no matter if they are well-known brands or just local insurers, have an online presence. Online quotes will allow policyholders the chance to discover multiple insurance companies and check their prices. Drivers are no longer required to get quotes from just a few known insurance companies. Also, local and regional insurers can provide lower insurance rates for the same services. Accurate insurance estimates. Online quotes can only be accurate if the customers provide accurate and real info about their car models and driving history. Lying about past driving incidents can make the price estimates to be lower, but when dealing with an insurance company lying to them is useless. Usually, insurance companies will do research about a potential customer before granting him coverage. Online quotes can be sorted easily. Although drivers are recommended to not choose a policy just based on its price, drivers can easily sort quotes by insurance price.
