Government boosts flu vaccine supply by 40% as experts warn of particularly bad seasons
The government has increased the supply of flu vaccines by 40%, as experts warn that the country’s innate immunity is much weaker and could be particularly bad this season.
New Zealand typically uses about 1.4 million influenza vaccines annually.
Health Minister Andrew Little said it will be available to 2 million people this year and more people will be vaccinated for free.
