Teenagers drunk two bubble teas daily for a month, which dramatically increased blood sugar levels. Doctors have found that each 750ml drink has almost 100 grams or 25 packets of sugar.

Drinking alcohol increased blood sugar levels in teens to 25 times the normal level, causing hyperglycemia to cause diabetic coma. She reported being thirsty, nausea, and had to use the toilet frequently the week before she was hospitalized. These are all signs of diabetic ketoacidosis or DKA.
