Madison, Wisconsin (WMTV)-UW Health is calling on the public to be screened for head and neck cancer after a recent increase in serious cases in UW hospitals and clinics.
According to UW Health, head and neck cancer tends to be very curable, especially if detected early. However, Dr. Tiffany Glazer, a head and neck cancer surgeon at UW Health, said more and more people are coming in severe cases and late in the cancer.
