Wisconsin COVID-19: 1,183 cases, 6 deaths
Madison, Wisconsin (WBAY) – Coronavirus cases have exceeded 1,000, the fifth in seven days. The Wisconsin Department of Health Services has reported 1,183 new cases. This was the lowest of the five, with new cases gradually declining after a sudden surge last week. The surge continued on weekends of religious observation, including spring holidays and Easter.
The average for 7 days surged from 1,071 to 1,168 per day. This is mainly because the equation no longer includes a much smaller number of cases last week.Last Tuesday, state Reported 471 cases.. Conversely, if last week’s spikes are no longer counted, the 7-day average could drop, depending on how many new cases were found in the next few days.
Four of the 20 counties we follow did not report new cases on Tuesday. Menominee County and Shawano County have each been modified by a total of 1. Nine counties had new cases in the single digits and seven had double digits.
The positive rate was the highest in two and a half months, with 8.4% of last week’s tests positive for the virus that causes COVID-19.
Six COVID-19 deaths were reported to the Department of Homeland Security, including one each in Marinette and Sheboygan counties. Three of the six deaths, including one in Marinette County, have been in the last 30 days. According to the DHS, the average for 7 days is still 2 deaths per day, which is fairly stable for about a week.
Over the past day, 27 people have been hospitalized for COVID-19 treatment. Our calculations show that the average for 7 days is 19 patients per day, the highest since April 3 (but lower than 28 per day a month ago). It is).
Monday Wisconsin Hospital Association (WHA) said there are 185 COVID-19 patients in hospitals throughout the state, 33 of whom are in the intensive care unit. There were 22 patients in hospitals in the northeastern medical area, 6 of whom were in the ICU. Fox Valley Hospital was treating six patients, but none at the ICU. Get the current number of patients after 3:30 pm today.
I was vaccinated against COVID-19 after a lethargic weekend. The 7-day average increased in 4 out of 5 vaccine indicators. The doses given, Wisconsin with at least one dose, Wisconsin that completed the vaccine series, and Wisconsin that received a booster shot. These four indicators hit record lows on Monday.
On Tuesday, only the 7-day average of the total booster shots decreased. This is the number of all boosters for Wisconsin and out-of-state residents (such as those who work here across state boundaries).

View photos The advantages of comparing online car insurance quotes are the following: Online quotes can be obtained from anywhere and at any time. Unlike physical insurance agencies, websites don't have a specific schedule and they are available at any time. Drivers that have busy working schedules, can compare quotes from anywhere and at any time, even at midnight. Multiple choices. Almost all insurance providers, no matter if they are well-known brands or just local insurers, have an online presence. Online quotes will allow policyholders the chance to discover multiple insurance companies and check their prices. Drivers are no longer required to get quotes from just a few known insurance companies. Also, local and regional insurers can provide lower insurance rates for the same services. Accurate insurance estimates. Online quotes can only be accurate if the customers provide accurate and real info about their car models and driving history. Lying about past driving incidents can make the price estimates to be lower, but when dealing with an insurance company lying to them is useless. Usually, insurance companies will do research about a potential customer before granting him coverage. Online quotes can be sorted easily. Although drivers are recommended to not choose a policy just based on its price, drivers can easily sort quotes by insurance price.
