Branson, Missouri (KY3)-A mother in Barry County warned her parents about her son’s complications after being diagnosed with Lyme disease.
Amy Driskill says his son had been facing neurological problems for about two years before he finally discovered the cause of his symptoms. He was diagnosed with Lyme disease. He is transmitted by being bitten by an infected black-footed tick. Due to the many signs of this disease, it can take a couple of years for a patient to be properly diagnosed.
