According to the latest CDC guidelines, children aged 5 to 11 years with moderate or severely weakened immune systems should wait at least 28 days after receiving a second vaccination in the primary vaccination series before Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-. You can receive an additional primary vaccination of 19 vaccines.
The CDC has also reduced the wait time for booster immunization for people over the age of 18 who have completed either the Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna vaccination series.
Adults and children ages 12-17 will be eligible for booster shots 5 months after the completion of the primary series. Again, only the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine is licensed for children under the age of 18.
