Health officials say hundreds of people may have been exposed to COVID-19 at Fifth Avenue in Royal Oak
Royal Oak, Michigan (WXYZ)—On Monday night, Oakland County health officials confirmed on Friday 19 June that anyone on Fifth Avenue had three positive COVID-19 tests in the county Publicized to monitor.

Officer Vail provided advice to Fifth Avenue with a week-long exposure of Auckland County bars in Ingham County.
“The restaurant itself. Closed. Deep clean, refresher staff. Make sure staff wear masks. There are many very loose enforcements of mask wear,” Bale said.
Tony Yezvic, co-owner of Fifth Avenue, says his facility remains open for now and his staff have been vigilant to keep people safe. He spoke to 7 Action News, who heard about it in the news and found out about the investigation.
“Ironically, the health department was here last night around 7:30 pm and gave me a warning letter. They seem to have received some complaints here about social distance and the crowd, but they I didn’t mention the three cases, so I don’t think the confidence level of these three people attracting COVID was not necessarily on Fifth Avenue,” Yezbick said.
Faust says the Department of Health is “quite comfortable” that Fifth Avenue was the site of the exposure.
“The only thing the three have in common is this one place. As far as I know, they don’t matter. They didn’t arrive on the same vehicle or anything of that sort. They were that night I was there.”
Faust said it would be great if Bar hadn’t, as that could mean finding less positive cases.
“But I’m afraid it is and potentially exposed hundreds of other people,” Faust said.
