Madison, Wisconsin (WMTV)-The Supreme Court of Wisconsin announced on Friday that it will work with community partners across the state to determine the next steps following the US Supreme Court’s move to overturn the Roe v. Wade case.
Karen Timberlake, director of health services in Wisconsin, explained that the agency is working to understand the impact of Dobbs vs. Jackson Women’s Health Organization.
“DHS works with state-wide partners to help Wisconsin understand the implications of this decision,” Timberlake said. “If you have any questions about access to the abortion service, please call 414-289-3002 or contact your healthcare provider.”

At the local level, Public Health Madison and Dane County explained that they work to ensure reproductive justice for everyone in the county.
