“First and foremost, we want patients to be able to continue to receive funded treatment,” she said.

“Medsafe advises that the risk to people taking Accuretic is very low, and the risk associated with abrupt discontinuation of blood pressure medications exceeds the risk indicated by the contaminants, so continue treatment. is needed.”

People taking Accuretic were advised to consult their doctor about alternative treatments when the next prescription was needed. Pharmac will cover the cost and prescription fees for visiting the GP Clinic.
