Federal government sending more monkeypox vaccine to New York

The federal government has sent an additional 8,195 monkeypox vaccines to New York to replenish depleted inventory amid a surge in incidents, especially among the LGBTQ communities in five provinces.

“We are aware of the fears and anxieties caused by this outbreak, especially for LGBTQ + New Yorkers, so my team and I will work 24 hours a day to secure as many vaccines as possible for our residents. Governor Kathy Hokul announced a press release announcing the imminent shipment of the vaccine.
