Marion County reported 893 additional COVID-19 cases this week
Oregon reported new cases of 10,894 coronaviruses in the week ending Sunday, from 10,876 in the week before the virus that causes COVID-19.
Oregon ranks 11th among the fastest-spreading states of the coronavirus per capita, according to USA TODAY network analysis of Johns Hopkins University data.
Last week, cases of coronavirus in the United States increased by 11.8% from the previous week, and 800,077 cases were reported. In Oregon, 35 people were reported dead from COVID-19 during the week ending Sunday. The week before, 56 people were reported dead.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, a total of 813,050 people have been coronavirus-positive and 7,818 have died from the disease in Oregon, according to data from Johns Hopkins University. In the United States, 87,843,561 people are positive and 1,017,848 have died.

Oregon COVID-19 hospitalization increased
