COVID-19 cases in Jefferson County surged 27.5% in 1 week
According to the latest data from the Alabama Department of Public Health, more than 27.5% of COVID-19 cases in Jefferson County have been identified in the last 7 days.
To date, Jefferson County has identified 4,802 COVID-19 cases, according to new numbers released by ADPH on Friday morning. Of these cases, 1,321 have been added in the past week, far more than any other county.
Jefferson County’s weekly tally is more than double that of mobile county with 633 additional cases and more than three times more than 426 new cases of Montgomery county over the past 7 days.
