People who have bad dreams in middle age are more likely to be diagnosed with dementia in the future
A study from the University of Birmingham found that people who have frequent bad dreams in middle age are more likely to be diagnosed with dementia later in life.
A new study published in The Lancet electronic clinical medicinesuggests that nightmares can be prevalent years or decades before the onset of memory and thinking problems characteristic of dementia.

For this study, Dr. Otaiku examined data from three community-based cohorts in the United States. These included his more than 600 adult men and women, aged 35 to he was 64. 2,600 adults aged 79 and over.
