Monkeypox of the eye is rare, but can be a sight-threatening condition in humans, according to reports from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). This report details five monkeypox patients who developed eye complications from July to September this year. Four were hospitalized and one experienced significant visual impairment.
