Coronavirus Illinois Today: IL COVID-19 cases increased by 614, with 6 new deaths. The total number exceeds 147K

COVID-19 deaths reported throughout the state of Illinois include:
-Champaign County: Men in their 70s, Men in their 80s
-Cook County: 2 men in their 60s, 1 woman in their 80s
-De Kalb County: 1 woman in her 90s
In the last 24 hours, Illinois has conducted 21,134 tests, exceeding 1.7 million across the state.
The preliminary 7-day state-wide positive rate of cases as a percentage of all tests from June 29 to July 5 is 2.6%.
