Dallas County sees first childhood flu death as cases double
Dallas County reported its first childhood flu death in November as the number of cases doubled and respiratory illness spread throughout the region.
The Dallas County Department of Health and Human Services confirmed the child had an underlying medical condition but did not provide further details.No childhood flu-related deaths were reported last season. Three children died from the flu last season.
