Five COVID Patients Discharged | News Extras
As the world continues to fight the new coronavirus, the World Health Organization (WHO) has reported 11,841,326 confirmed cases so far, and the number per day has skyrocketed, making Trinidad and Tobago (T&T) a virus. Reported that only five were hospitalized.
All COVID-19 positive patients are treated at Cowra Hospital.
Only 133 T&T positive cases have been recorded, with only 8 deaths recorded.
The Ministry of Health, which provides the most up-to-date national information on this point, as of Thursday morning, July 9, 2020, reported:
Number of samples submitted to the Caribbean Public Health Service (CARPHA) and UWI sites for COVID-19 testing: 5701
Number of unique patient tests completed: 4264
Number of repeated tests: 1437
Number of samples tested positive: 133
Dead: 8
Number of people discharged from hospital: 120
