MONTGOMERY, Alabama (WSFA) – It’s a new year and many are looking for a fresh start when it comes to their health. But flu, COVID-19 and RSV concerns still linger in his 2023.
When will these ‘triple disease’ concerns end in Alabama? Dr. Karen Landers of the Alabama Department of Public Health shared an insight.

The new coronavirus in recent years is unpredictable. ADPH notes another surge, but adds that states have more tools to stop the spread.
“We’re seeing an increase in COVID again,” she said. “Fortunately, we are now able to do more testing than we did a few years ago.”
