According to the state, of the confirmed cases, the death toll from the coronavirus outbreak in Massachusetts increased by 28 to 8,081. As the main indicator used by the state to monitor resumption, the number of confirmed cases increased by 152, for a total of 105,290.
The state also had no new probable cases of deaths, with a total of 215 and a total of 61 probable cases with a total of 5,820.
The state said 12,794 new individuals were tested for coronavirus, bringing the total number of individuals tested to 932,796. The total number of tests performed increased to 1,187,832. And the state reported that a new antibody test was completed for 656 people, bringing the total to 79,073.

The number of hospitals using surge capacity remained the same at four on Thursday, down 81% from April 15.
Finally, the three-day average mortality of confirmed cases was also stable at 19 as of Tuesday. This number has decreased by 88% since mid-April.
Mayor Martin J. Walsh praised the citizens of Boston how they acted during the pandemic at a news conference on Friday as the city was preparing to enter Phase 3 of the state’s renewal plan. The City’s Phase 3 business will be able to resume on Monday after the rest of the state resumes earlier this week.
“I’m doing the right thing here in Boston, so I can move forward,” said Walsh.
