April 6 (Reuters) – Children aged 6 months to 4 years with underlying medical conditions will be offered a vaccination against COVID-19, Britain’s vaccine adviser said on Thursday.
The Joint Commission on Immunization and Immunization (JCVI) states that eligible children should receive two doses of the vaccine, with an interval of 8-12 weeks between the first and second doses. said.
The UK health regulator, the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), has approved a vaccine made by Pfizer. (PFE.N) and BioNTech (22UAy.DE) – For the same age group in December.
U.S. officials last year rolled out Pfizer and BioNTech vaccinations to age groups.

NHS England has confirmed that it will start offering vaccinations to eligible people from mid-June.
